Smudging is an ancient spiritual ritual- well established as a Native American cultural or tribunal practice. It is a daily act of cleansing and purifying using a selection of herbs, bundled together to form a smudge stick before burning.

Steps to smudging:
1) Light the smudgestick with a flame
2) Blow the flame out and use smoke to cleanse objects, people and environment.
3) Extinguish by putting it out in an abalone shell or ceramic bowl
These beauties can be burned but it is widely used as a home adornment too.
